Symptom
Images come back soft, with smeared detail in faces and text, even at the largest size the tool offers.
Causes
- The output resolution is lower than the display size.
- An upscaler is set to the wrong mode.
- The prompt asks for a style that favours soft edges.
Steps
- Check the export size and set it to at least twice the size you display.
- Turn the upscaler on, and choose the detail-preserving mode if there is one.
- Remove words such as “dreamy” or “soft focus” from the prompt.
- Regenerate once and compare at 100 percent zoom.
